Scottish Enterprise (SE) is Scotland’s national economic development agency. We help Scottish businesses to grow nationally and internationally, to become more efficient and innovative, and to access the services they need to grow and help the Scottish economy.  We also play a pivotal role in the restart and recovery phases of our economy post-COVID-19.

2020欧洲杯线上平台The Scottish Investment Bank (SIB) is the investment arm of SE. It supports Scotland’s SMEs and other organisations by providing access to debt and equity for growth. We’re looking for an experienced candidate who can appraise a range of business propositions and effectively negotiate with external parties, ultimately contributing to Scotland’s economic growth during the pandemic and beyond.

2020欧洲杯线上平台Working flexibly across SIB, you’ll play an important role as we deliver, integrate and embed the £25 million Early Stage Growth Challenge Fund (ESGCF) alongside our other funds, including the Scottish Co-investment Fund and the Scottish Venture Fund. You'll contribute to the appraisal and delivery of our funding support.

2020欧洲杯线上平台As the wide range of companies in our portfolio are still in the development stages, having a solid understanding of the way they plan to grow is vital. Looking at everything from financial forecasts to legal agreements, you'll tap into your experience of working with early-stage, high-growth innovation focused companies and their contribution towards Scotland’s economic growth.

The qualities you'll bring

You are a strong communicator, with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. You’ll be comfortable working on complex commercial transactions, and delivering a strong, positive message about the benefits of investment in the early stage market.

You’ll be educated to degree level or hold an appropriate professional qualification in accountancy, banking, law or investment. Your experience in the appraising and transacting of early-stage equity investments is fundamental so you can slot into the team easily and play an active role in the SIB team as we deliver the ESGCF, which opened for applications on the 20 July.
